Born in Mt Allan, Gabriella Possum is the oldest daughter of the renowned painter, Clifford Possum Tjapaltjarri (now deceased), and who taught her to paint. She depicts stories such as the Women Ceremonies, Grandmother’s Country, Bush Tucker (Black Seed and Exploding Seed from the Mt. Allan area), Goanna, Serpent and Seven Sisters. She is now a very famous and high profile indigenous artist widely collected and represented throughout the world.
